About Our Activities Programs
Browse Current Activities
Our Activities Program provides opportunities to participate in higher education classes, exercise programs, hobbies, low-cost health and wellness services and other social events.
There are numerous activities taking place at the Olympia and Virgil Clarkson Lacey Senior Centers each day. It is our goal to offer programs, services and social opportunities that nurture the notion to celebrate life, stay socially engaged, and nourish the mind, body and soul. If we don’t have what you are looking for, please contact us! Some of our best ideas come from YOU. Many programs are free and open to the public.
Who can participate in Center Activities?
For people primarily aged 55 and older, though there are exceptions and we are able to accommodate younger individuals for some programs, such as our bingo fundraisers, which are open to anyone aged 21 and older. Many of our programs and services are open to the public and others are for members only.
Membership offers year-long access to dozens of special interest groups, health services, as well as discounts on trips and Senior Academy classes. In addition, we offer tiered membership levels that carry with them varying benefits. Learn more about the different Membership Levels that's right for you! We don't believe anyone should be excluded from participating in Senior Center activities so no one is ever turned away! Financial assistance is available for folks going through financial hardship.
