Improving the quality of life for people as they age.
We envision a South Sound where people are empowered and engaged in the community as they age, valued for their wisdom and experience, and have a positive sense of self-worth.
Founded in 1973, Senior Services for South Sound has been dedicated to supporting seniors in our community for more than 50 years. Our mission is simple: Improving the quality of life for people as they age.
Our programs and services include Brighter Days Adult Day Program, Meals on Wheels, Senior Community Dining, Senior Transportation, Care Connection Caregiver Registry, Supportive Services, Health and Wellness Programs, Trips & Tours Program, Adult Learning, and Independent Living Programs.
The largest program we offer is our Senior Nutrition Program, provided in both Mason and Thurston counties. This program alone provides more than 100,000 meals each year to 3,000 individual seniors.
