The PALS Fund helps low-income seniors pay veterinary bills for their beloved animal friends. From preventative care to emergency procedures, the fund provides much-needed support for seniors who simply cannot afford the rising cost of vet care. In 2024, thanks to the generosity of more than 250 individual donors, The PALS Fund raised more money than ever before, an astonishing $96,038! Thanks to your support, in 2024 we assisted 208 seniors and their pets, and were able to immediately help people in 2025.

Do you need help paying for pet care?

To be eligible for pet assistance you must be age 60 or over, live in Thurston or Mason County and meet the program's guidelines to qualify as low income. Visit our PALS Pet Assistance Fund resources page for more information about receiving benefits. We want to help. Please note funds are limited and will be awarded while funding lasts
