Senior Services for South Sound is helping seniors age in place, whether at home or at the Olympia or Lacey Senior Centers. Our programs and services enhance and improve their quality of life through health and wellbeing classes, personal growth opportunities, making new friends and discovering life-enhancing ways to contribute to their own community.
Esther became homeless after running away from a difficult home situation at the age of 71. After two long years, Esther found a home and immersed herself in the Olympia Senior Center. She is committed to “paying it forward” by facilitating a resource group for homeless women over the age of 50 and advocate for seniors that need help connecting with a variety of community resources.
