COVID-19 Update
Since the beginning of the pandemic, keeping our staff and seniors safe has been our highest priority. When our doors reopened in July 2021, we were among the first organizations to require masking and proof of vaccination. We made these hard choices out of belief that our mission required us to do so, and we are pleased that, to date, we have not had any COVID-19 cases occur among our seniors or staff.
We will therefore continue to be vigilant in protecting our community. Though the statewide indoor mask mandate ends on March 12, masks and proof of vaccination will still be required for anyone entering our senior centers or participating in our programs or activities.
Our mask and vaccination requirements will remain in place at least until the end of March. We will continue to monitor local COVID-19 transmission and hospitalization rates on a daily basis. As much as we look forward to relaxing our protocols, we will only do so after carefully considering the impact on the vulnerable population we serve.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
