• Resource Advocate Program Manager

    The Resource Advocate Program Manager recruits and oversees Senior Services’ team of Resource
    Advocates (RAs). RA volunteers respond to requests for advice and assistance from seniors 60 and older who live in the South Sound (Mason County and Thurston County). The manager oversees the program budget, schedules RA volunteer days, ensures RA volunteers have needed technical support and office space, evaluates RA volunteers as needed to maintain the effectiveness of the program, and ensures the RA Program meets reporting requirements defined by grant contracts and the Client Services Director.

  • Yelm Assistant Site Manager

    The Assistant Site Manager prepares and serves food for the Senior Nutrition Program (SNP), ensuring that meals are tasty, nutritious, and attractive. Helps ensure that meals meet nutrition, portion control and food safety standards.  Organizes and oversees HDNS deliveries. Fills in for the Site Manager (SM) as needed.

  • Enhance Fitness Instructor

    Senior Services for South Sound’s Activities department is looking for group exercise instructors for the evidence-based fall prevention exercise program, EnhanceFitness. The classes are offered three times a week.

    We strongly recommend that all of our EnhanceFitness instructors and substitutes hold a current CPR certification and possess a national fitness certification. Once hired, successful candidates will receive program-specific training from an EnhanceFitness master trainer.
