Senior Services for South Sound is pleased to announce the first annual Community Recognition Brunch to honor individuals who have contributed to the quality of life for seniors and their family members. Three community champions will be recognized on October 19th, 10:00 am–12:30 pm, at the Olympia Senior Center.
Our lives are usually too busy and hectic to take the time to properly say “thank you” to those who have made an impact in our community. Yet, showing our appreciation and gratitude is not only the right thing to do, but it helps inspire others to do good work, too! Making a difference in our world leaves a lasting imprint.
We hope you will join us in acknowledging and honoring these three amazing people who give generously and selflessly. Eileen McKenzieSullivan, Executive Director of Senior Services for South Sound, is being honored for her 37 years of service at Senior Services, Inge Marcus is being awarded for her philanthropic spirit and Elsa McLain is our beloved founder and former employee and board member of Senior Services.
The event is sure to be memorable. It’s an opportunity to connect and mingle with other community members, bid on fantastic silent auction items and raise the paddle to support the neediest of seniors. And, this might be the last time to purchase Holland America Cruise Line raffle tickets for the chance to win a destination of your choice, valued at $8,800. The winner will be announced at the event! South Sound Catering will provide a tasty brunch with a festive fall theme.
