Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance® (TJQMBB) is a research-based balance training regimen designed for older adults to prevent falls and improve balance and mobility. Instructor Brian Weaver has been teaching this program along with the traditional Tai Ji and Qigong since 2019 throughout Olympia and Lacey. Exercises include a variety of balance-oriented forms and therapeutic movements with variations for standing, chair-assisted, and seated exercise. Coordinated breathing also strengthens the lungs and relaxes both the body and mind.
