Trips, tours, and travel is for anyone 18 and older.  It's time to leave the driving and planning to us!  Trips include local one-day excursions, trips across country, or ventures to foreign lands.  For a list of current list in our Trips & Tours Catalog, click here.  Or, call 360.586.6181, ext. 126. The office is located at the Olympia Senior Center on the 2nd floor. All trips are open to members and the general public. Members receive a discount on trips!

Reservation & Cancellation

The Trips and Tours staff act only as agents for trips and shall not be held responsible for any accidents, loss, or injuries that may occur.  All passengers are covered by common carrier insurance.

Trips and Tours does not accept liability for any carrier’s cancellation penalties. 

Senior Services reserves the right to refuse any person as a tour participant and expel anyone whose conduct is incompatible with the interest of the tour group.

If it becomes necessary, Senior Services reserves the right to make changes to the trips schedule without notice.

Cancellations and Refunds:

            *Overnight trip cancellations are required 45 days prior to the departure date.

            *Day trips cancellations must be received 14 days prior to the departure date.

 A $20.00 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations.

Winter Cancellations

On rare occasions, impassable roads due to snow or ice may cause cancellation of a trip.  If a performance is cancelled or a motor coach is unable to transport, a credit will be given for a future trip.

Non-Refundable

Late cancellations, ticketed events, and gift certificates are non-refundable.

If a trip is cancelled by Trips and Tours, a full refund will be made.  Your refund check will be issued within two weeks.

Payments

Final payments are due two weeks prior to trip and may be made by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card. Make checks payable to Senior Services and mail or deliver to:

Member Discount

Senior Services for South Sound is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.  We offer tiered membership starting at $40 per year for an individual. Member discounts for trips range from $5-$10.

Deposits

Your nonrefundable deposit reserves your space and constitutes acceptance of these terms and agreements. $20 for daytrips and $50 for overnight excursions.

Trip Departures

Olympia Senior Center Lobby: 222 Columbia Street NW, Olympia.

Lacey Senior Center Parking Lot: 6757 Pacific Ave SE, Lacey – turn right at the parking lot “Y”; go to Senior Services bus near the picnic area.

Trips staff will call you to confirm the time and place of your departure.  Passengers need to be at pick-up point 15 minutes prior to departure
