This the third and longest hike of the year. We will hike a 4-mile section of the Skookum Flats trail through lush forests along the White River. Rock formations known as the Palisades peek through at times and the some late spring wild flowers should be blooming. As the name suggests, the trail is mostly flat. The destination is Skookum Falls, a 250’ two-tiered waterfall, but we will take our time enjoying the journey. We start our day with a hearty breakfast in Enumclaw and end at Wapiti Woolies for ice cream.
