Wednesdays, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm, 1/16 – 2/20, Olympia Senior Center

Join us as we explore notable artists and art of the Northwest. We’ll look at traditional Native American art, historical figures such as Edward Curtis, contemporary artists such as Dale Chihuly, and additional painters, photographers, architects, and public artists whose work reflects our region. Come discover new artists and debate the controversies some of their work has generated. Questions and lively discussion are welcome. To register and pay, call 360.586.6181.  General Public/Member: $68/$62

Jane Stone recently retired from teaching art history and studio arts at South Puget Sound Community College. She studied at Reed College and the University of Iowa, and continues to work in her home studio, teach part-time, and tutor English language learners.
